Okay, I'm being harsh. I should forgive the girl for just one fashion mistake.

But, then there's this..

 Now, Lindsey. Who taught you about fashion? Like what magazines have you been reading?!

And don't worry, I'm not another picky fashion blogger that rants about anything that's not her style. I'm definately not the only one who doesn't like the collection.

DIY; Floral High-waisted Skirt

Hello thurrr,
I spent all of Saturday making a skirt, I'm actually really pleased with it because I've never actually made any clothes before, I'll definitely keep doing it as it was a lot of fun, even if I did sew, unpick, sew, unpick, over and over!

I cut out my head because I am mega tired and look awful!

What do i need?

4 pieces you need to have this season to make your wardrobe complete.

1. The Velvet Body- Structured silhouettes are everywhere right now, so team the velvet body with a tulip shaped skirt, platforms and a clutch, and simple but amazing outfit.

2. The Body-con Dress- The LBD will always be in fashion, so to make the look, look new and improved with a biker jacket and a snood, and don't forget the lace-ups or the flat boots- this seasons way to make a 'chic impression'

3. The Embellished Trouser- Pick out an embellished piece which will last you all through the season, add a simple t-shirt and cross body bag. Simple but a cool look.

4. The Cropped Sequin Dress- Wear one of these under a sheer shirt to add sparkle and texture to your outfit.

I got this months subscription edition of Elle today and I just have to point out how amazing Cheryl Cole looks on the cover! I will do a full post on the magazine later as I haven't read it or scanned the pictures yet but here are a few pictures of the beautiful and highly fashionable Cheryl Cole.

Lace me up.

Everyone is wearing Lace Up Ankle Boots.

Not a milkmaid anymore.

No longer milkmaids, plaits are big news this season. This is a classic 70s look’ says hair stylist Malcolm Edwards who created it. ‘You need tons of product to give it grip and keep it tight to the head. It’s the ultimate in poolside glamour'.

Maybe we should walk to Paris?

Sorry i haven't been posting much.

But anyway, Paris fashion week has produced some of the best clothes for this season. Alber Elbaz sent down the runway some of the best designs i have ever seen. The runway was in a warehouse on the 'wrong' side of paris. It started with a parade of girls in Lanvin’s signature black dresses – asymmetric, one puffy shoulder accessorised with one matching glove, complete with frills and ruffles. The dresses turned into a tuxedo, a pleated one-shoulder jumpsuit, a tailored jacket with a fluid draped skirt.

The colours were simple, black, white and skin coloured.

The prettiest models were sent down the runway too, just as if they were born with the dresses on, they looked just perfect. The designs are brilliant, and makes you want to know what is he going to design for next season?

The world is full of Kings and Queens, Who blind your eyes and steal your dreams.

You may have already seen these pictures as I got them off of another blog, but I just had to post them, they're amazing.

Balmainia!!

Christophe Decarnin, 
 I love you more than I love cake. 





Sorry, for my outburst there, but, it's true I'd much rather meet Christophe Decarnin than have a life time supply of cake. And for me, that's saying something!

I've been ill with laryngitis for the last couple of days, but Balmain's new collection has definitely cheered me up.

The collection still has the classic elements of Balmain, such as the sharp shoulder, the worn jeans and the studs, but this time round the collection has an almost army feel to it, I can see this being a big trend for spring 2010.   
 

The balmain collection was amazing, and I can't wait for the clothing lookalikes to appear on the high street, I will be sure to keep my eye out for them.
